Recent projects have included a proof of descent from a 14th Century Knight of the Garter and researching the 16th & 17th Century English origins of an Anglo-Irish family using genealogy, heraldry and DNA.

Tutor on the Genealogical Studies Postgraduate Programme, University of Strathclyde and a director and a founding member of the Register of Qualified Genealogists.
