About: Sarah Pettyfer
My background is in law, working as a solicitor for 18 years before taking a career break to have children. I am originally from Yorkshire but have lived in Surrey since 2012. I embarked on three and a half years of genealogical studies with the IHGS (Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies) gaining their Diploma in Genealogy in December 2021. My passion in researching criminal ancestors and tracing your family through the 18th and 17th Centuries.
