A special thank you to our journal editor Jean-Marc Bazzoni

Jean-Marc Bazzoni has been editor of RQG’s journal The Journal of Genealogy & Family History for over two years, and is stepping down at the end of December. I want to thank him for all his hard work, time and energy in keeping the journal on track during this time and continuing to oversee the publication of articles from across the world as free downloads for the wider genealogical community.
From first look to peer review, editing to typesetting, the tasks involved in maintaining the quality of the journal quality are numerous and Jean-Marc has undertaken them with quiet diligence and for this I want to thank him personally.
We will miss you and wish you happiness and contentment in whatever you go onto do.

I would like to welcome RQG Director Caroline Gurney who will be stepping into Jean-Marc’s well trodden shoes as journal editor and I wish her every success in her new role.
