My Favourite Archive – Herefordshire Archives and Records Centre

“The new purpose built Centre was opened in 2015 to a leading edge “passivhaus” design. As a result of the move all of the items were stock-checked, cleaned, packaged and re-boxed and so this makes finding the right document so much easier.
The staff are always very helpful and there is a new programme of events including talks and book launches that brings the Herefordshire genealogical community together.
I must admit I do sometimes miss the uneven floors and eccentricities of the old Records Office but this new centre is a great facility.”
