On behalf of the board of Directors, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Jean-Marc Bazzoni who will be taking on the role of Journal Editor for the RQG publication the Journal of Genealogy and Family History.

Jean-Marc also currently edits the Journal of One Name Studies on behalf of the Guild of One Name Studies so comes highly recommended! We would like to offer Jean-Marc our support as he takes the journal forward to new and dizzying heights.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is also with regret that we say goodbye to our current journal editor Jessica Feinstein.

Jessica has been involved with the journal since way before the first article was published in April 2017. Jessica along with the Directors had long held a vision of launching the first peer-reviewed journal for genealogy – and with Jessica’s experience in the world of publishing along with her drive and understated ethos of hard work and just getting on with the job, the vision became a reality. Put simply – without her the journal would have still been a pipe dream.

So a huge debt of thanks is owed to you Jessica and I know that the Directors and the whole membership of RQG will want to join me in thanking you and wishing you well for the future, as you take a step back to enjoy a well-earned rest and have more time to spend with your family.
