
New Full RQG Member – Jenni Phillips
Jenni has now progressed to be a full member of RQG after being a student member. She has achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies (University of Strathclyde) with a PG Dip project focused on late sixteenth century Chancery cases relating to Somerset. She will be starting the MSc dissertation year at Strathclyde in autumn 2023.
Based in Cardiff, Wales, Jenni has interests in south Wales, south-west England, palaeography and early modern research. She plans to continue to focus on academic work for the time being and has given talks on a variety of genealogical topics for family & local history societies, Glamorgan Archives, The Genealogy Show, and RootsTech. Jenni will be reviewing her portfolio of talks in due course and hopes to undertake more speaking engagements in future.
