
New Member – David Lloyd
Welcome to our new member David lloyd. Here are a few facts about him:
He completed the 1 year full-time MSc in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies at Strathclyde University and graduated in November.
He is based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
He has a special interest in Tasmanian Conduct records and Indents. He used these extensively in his Dissertation, which was based on a small group of men who were involved in the 1842 Pottery Riots. These men were convicted of various offences and received transportation sentences to Van Diemen’s Land. He also has a passion for palaeography.
He hopes to go into business next year and is open-minded at the moment with regard to which type of work he will be taking on.
