Elizabeth has always had a keen interest in history and studied history at the University of Kent.  She followed this by gaining the IHGS Diploma in Genealogy and the MSc in Genealogical, Paleographic and Heraldic Studies at Strathclyde University.

She works at Achievements, the research branch of the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies, and is a tutor on the IHGS Correspondence Course.

Originally from Norfolk, Elizabeth’s maiden name of Kerry hails from Suffolk, so she has a specific East Anglian interest.
