New member – Sheridan Parsons
Based in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire – and sometimes on her narrowboat, Sheridan has just completed her studies in Local and Family History to postgraduate diploma level at CAIS Dundee. She is awaiting the results for the last module.
For her Master’s dissertation topic, she is researching the Transport Workers Battalions in WW1, which combines her two passions, researching WW1 soldiers and canal heritage. Her other passion is the history of teasmades.
In the future, Sheridan will be dividing her time between her dissertation, research for clients, and writing popular history books. In the autumn she and her husband will be launching an exciting new website, Twiggli, where genealogists can create beautiful family tree pedigree posters for themselves or for clients.
