New member welcome: Tessa Szczepanik

RQG is delighted to announce that Tessa Szczepanik has been admitted as our latest member. Tessa completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Genealogical Studies at the University of Strathclyde in 2011.

Based in Kent, Tessa is half-Polish and has been interested in genealogy since winning first prize for a Family Project at school when she was 10 years old. Combining her language skills with an interest in history led to a degree in Classics at the University of London’s Royal Holloway College before completing the University of Strathclyde’s course. In addition to genealogical research, Tessa enjoys planning holidays with an historical emphasis that combines aspects of genealogy, history and local culture, such as a memorable trip to India in 2012 where some of her family lived in the 1780s-1930s. She is also an administrator for the Clan MacMillan Forum and enjoys attending clan gatherings. Her profile can be found at http://www.qualifiedgenealogists.org/profiles/szczepanik-tessa.

RQG members extend a warm welcome to Tessa as a Qualified Genealogist.
