New RGQ Member – Sian Salt
Living in Manchester, England, Sian graduated this year with an MSc in Genealogy, Palaeography and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde. The subject of their dissertation was First World War conscientious objectors and Sian intends to build on her research, possibly in book form.
Other areas of interest revolve around dissent (e.g. suffrage, trade unionism). Sian’s main career has, up to now, been as a producer/director in documentary tv and is hatching some ideas which combine her two passions. She is currently collaborating with Edgeways Productions – an innovative arts partnership aimed at helping those on the margins of society.

says:Awaiting the book, or the TV series (better for my short attention span) with eager anticipation. The dissertation was a good read.
