Paula is an ex-teacher and has completed the PG Diploma in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies at Strathclyde.  She also has a Diploma in Genealogy (NFQ, Level 7) from Cork University .

Based on the Surrey/Hampshire border, only a 45 minute drive from the National Archives in Kew, Paula’s particular interests are merchant seamen and shipping, and Irish genealogy.

It is her intention to take the masters course at Strathclyde in two years time. In the meantime she is hoping to do some writing and research.
