New RQG Member Victoria Coyle

Bolton based Victoria has the following qualifications:

  • BA (Hons) in History and English: Bolton Institute of Higher Education
  • PGCE: St Martin’s College, Lancaster
  • MSc in Genealogical, Palaeographical & Heraldic Studies at the University of Strathclyde

She is a social historian and a member of the Guild of One Name Studies researching the surname Croston. Victoria is  also a qualified self-employed teacher.

She will be giving a talk to Bolton Family History Society on ‘ The UKBMD website and how to use it’ on 6th November 2019 and is also learning Latin.  In the process of developing her business website for genealogy, Victoria also plans to get back to work on her one name study after the busy year completing the Master’s degree.

Victoria has two  Facebook pages: ‘Croston One Name Study’ and ‘Family Tree Search UK’, the latter being my new page for her business.
