Shannon is currently undertaking the PG-Diploma year at Strathclyde and plans to progress to the MSc. She is based in Northern Virginia, United States and has a special interest in DNA (previous BS in Biology with an emphasis in genetics), lineage society applications/verification of linages, Colonial American research (particularly Virginia) and heraldic research. Her future plans are to go into business, undertake some writing and more studying and continue with free-lance genealogical writing and lecturing.
