Our next festive member meeting will include four short, client case study presentations from previous client work that falls outside of the usual family tree genealogy work – so ‘outside the box’ research in effect. The intention is to show the wide variety of work that can be gained as a professional researcher as well as the more common generation studies.

The four topics are:

• Tracing a house history using just wills – Richard Tolson, Director RQG
• Māori Whakapapa & Oral history – David Jack, Director RQG
• Tracing breast cancer links using female line death certificates – Carol Bannister, Director RQG
• Acquiring British citizenship using genealogy – Toni Sutton, Director RQG
