Green Dragon Genealogy, run by Michelle Hunter, is a friendly, professional, family history research service based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire in the UK.
Michelle is a professional genealogist, family historian and former teacher who provides a range of individually tailored services from full family tree research or help with a specific ‘brick wall’ to local ‘look ups’ and searches at archives or other venues in Lincolnshire and the surrounding counties.
Michelle’s particular interests include Victorian research, medical and asylum history and transcriptions, East Midlands and London / Middlesex genealogy and interpreting autosomal DNA test results. Michelle enjoys writing and creating illustrated, narrative family history reports and gift books for clients.
Her business Green Dragon Genealogy offers UK-wide research and a reliable, efficient service for clients both in the UK and overseas.
Michelle holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde and is an AGRA Associate. She also has a BA (Hons) degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (German, French and Spanish) from Durham University.
Michelle is Secretary of the Lincoln Branch of the Lincolnshire Family History Society and a steward at their Resource Centre in Lincoln.
