Description

I began researching my family history in the late 90s.   I had always been captivated by local history and eagerly absorbed the family stories of fortune, fame, achievements, and the occasional scandal.

Stories have certainly evolved over the generations, but I never grew tired of hearing about my ancestors.   I was truly captivated by the discovery of documents that provided evidence for certain claims or corrected the narratives I had previously heard.

I will never forget my initial visit to the London records office, which occurred prior to the widespread expansion of the Internet.   On this trip, I acquired my first vital certificates. They not only helped me solve puzzles but also guided me towards the next piece of information.   Since then, I have been completely engrossed and managed to uncover a long-lost branch of my family.

I have been able to help many people connect with their past, reunite with lost relatives, and discover previously unknown family history.

I am extremely passionate about writing and I am thrilled to announce that my book is scheduled to be published in late 2024.   The book delves into the life of a Victorian/Edwardian lady, exploring the various challenges she faced during a time of immense social change.
