Description
Joanne is a professional genealogist based in Staffordshire, West Midlands UK. She has completed an MSc in Genealogical, Palaeographical and Heraldic Studies with the University of Strathclyde.
Joanne has a keen interest in local and social history, researching the people behind industry and occupations in the 18th and 19th centuries.
She is a volunteer at Staffordshire Archives and Redfern’s Cottage Museum of Uttoxeter Life. Her own family history concentrates on Wales, the Midlands, Lancashire, Yorkshire, and the US.
Joanne is a Director of the RQG and involved in the RQG mentoring scheme, student hub and communications group.
