Description
I have over twenty-five years experience in genealogical and local history research. Using that experience I decided set up a family and local history research service that covers my home county of Buckinghamshire and beyond.
I am based in the Chilterns: an area I have lived in for many years and that is also connected to my own Buckinghamshire ancestry. I also have ancestral connections to the neighbouring counties of Berkshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire so I am familiar with genealogical research in these locations too. My research service is not just confined though to these counties but can also extend further afield if necessary.
My special interests include non-conformity in Buckinghamshire and early modern local history (sixteenth to eighteenth century).
Family history or local history, I can help you discover an insight in to the lives of your ancestors: from tracing births, marriages and deaths to the transcription of old Wills and land documents that might be related to your family heritage. If requested, I can also take photographs of surviving documents, buildings or monuments (if accessible and permissible) related to your ancestral story.
In addition, if required, I can also help with DNA family history results and construct associated family trees using current genealogy software.
