Nicola Johnson is a UK‑based professional genealogist specialising in English ancestry. She works with clients in the UK and internationally, offering family history investigations, archive research, and specialist expertise in maritime, Merchant Navy, Titanic, migration, convict transportation, and DNA detective cases.
Based in Hampshire, Dorset and London, Nicola undertakes everything from single archive lookups to full family history projects, covering the 1600s to the present day. She regularly researches at Hampshire Archives, Dorset History Centre, Southampton City Archives, and The National Archives in London, and frequently traces family lines to and from Scotland, Wales, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, and British India.
