Description
Rhiannon is passionate about helping others discover their family stories, just as she discovered her own. She has been researching since 2012 and decided to take her passion a step further by taking the MSc in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies course with the University of Strathclyde in 2017-2018.
The MSc qualification has ensured that Rhiannon will conduct high-quality research, tailored to a client’s specific needs. As well as being able to research in England, Wales and Scotland using largely online resources, Rhiannon is well-situated to undertake archival research in Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Wiltshire.
Rhiannon is particularly interested palaeography, Medieval genealogy and anything related to the county of Somerset. She can also undertake House Histories and take photographs of local places/monuments/graves.
At the moment, Rhiannon is also developing a talk related to her MSc dissertation topic (Medieval women and Inquisitions Post Mortem), with the intention of expanding that research in the future. She also hopes to perform a one name study for the Rowsell surname.
