Description
My experience is mostly in researching individuals across the villages, towns and cities of central Scotland but i have particular interests in coal & shale mining community life and Irish immigration into Scotland.
I am only 20 minutes travel from the National Records of Scotland/Scotlandspeople Centre and can provide record retrieval services.
In addition to client work, I am currently researching the local history of Uphall Station with a view to publishing a social history of it, as a former shale mining village with high Irish in-migration.
