Description
Originally from England, but now living in Northern Ireland, I have extensive experience in English and Irish records.
My genealogy business covers all types of research projects. I collaborate with other genealogists and specialists to ensure that the client receives a fully researched result. For expert researchers, I can provide a mentoring service.
I specialise in 18th and 19th century Ireland, Irish ministry, immigration and emigration. I am currently researching and writing books on Tamlaghtard Church of Ireland and the Reverend John Graham, the Cather family of Limavady, the Poor of the Roe Valley and Crime and Punishment in Co. Londonderry.
I teach beginners and experienced researchers, courses on Irish sources and how to use them. Course for expert researchers of other countries will commenced in 2024.
I have given talks at larger events such as the all Ireland Harp Festival and the Bastille Day celebration by Reclaim the Enlightenment, as well as to established groups including the Roe Valley Historical Society, Coleraine Historical Society, Trasna na Tire, Limavady Area Ancestry and the Willa Cather International Conference.
I provide research support for academic writers and historians.
