Description

Jeanette has attended and presented (in German) to the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Jüdische Sammlungen.  She is a member of Germany’s only Jewish Genealogical Society, the Hamburger Gesellschaft für jüdische Genealogie.  Jeanette was a Director of JewishGen’s German SIG, (GerSIG) 2009-19. Jeanette is the Family History and Genealogy representative on the UK’s ITS Oversight Committee, strategically managing the UK’s copy holding of the ITS Arolsen Holocaust Archival Collection.  She provided specialist input on behalf of JGSGB to The Prime Minister’s Commission on the Holocaust.  She also ran the genealogy and family history sessions at the Holocaust Generations Conference in January 2015.
