Genealogist and Tutor
Anne is the owner of Leaves Family History Research Services. She is a qualified professional genealogist and tutor, who researches English and Welsh family history with an emphasis on the East Riding of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire counties. Anne has several satisfied clients in America as well as the UK.
She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies from Strathclyde University and a Level 6 Certificate in Education from Huddersfield University.
In addition to doing research Anne runs personalised coaching sessions and an online family history course. These course cover the background to the documents we use, how to find them, and allows you to research your own family history whilst taking the course.
As well as her paid work, Anne also volunteers for the FreeReg website to index Sussex parish registers, and is one of the East Yorkshire Archives WW1 Lives researchers. She also writes regular blogs which can be viewed on her website.
Anne specialises in English genealogy especially in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, and has easy access to the East Riding of Yorkshire archives, Hull History Centre and the Lincolnshire archives.
Her services include English and Welsh family history research, producing gift family history portfolios, personalised coaching for those who need help with their research, teaching family history research skills to beginners, and giving presentations to local community groups.
