Clare Hopkins
Genealogist and Family Historian
Description
I am a genealogist and family historian specialising in research across the British Isles, focusing on the 16th to early 19th centuries. I have a particular interest in location-based genealogy, exploring how family history is rooted in place and how understanding local communities can reveal connections before the introduction of civil registration.
Trained at the University of Strathclyde, I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies.
Based in Northamptonshire, I conduct commissioned research and archival analysis for individuals, families, and heritage projects.
