Description
Carol qualified with an MSc in Genealogical Studies at the University of Strathclyde in 2011 and established ‘Ancestors Direct’, her own genealogical research business, in 2009. Carol is passionate about genealogical research and teaching. Carol has been a tutor on the Genealogical Studies Programme at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland since 2013 to the present.
Based in the Midlands in England, Carol has easy access to archives and repositories in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. She will travel to other UK archives if needed.
Her current personal genealogical research is based on the Nottinghamshire Ecclesiastical Court records and is titled ‘ The Ecclesiastical Courts, Puritans and Papists: Religious Persecution and Toleration in Nottinghamshire.’
