New Board Appointments

We are delighted to announce the new appointment of RQG Chair, Sylvia Valentine. Sylvia has been formally appointed by the Board and follows in the footsteps of our previous chairperson, Toni Sutton.

Toni Sutton, Andy Douglas and Carol Bannister have stepped down as Directors and we send our thanks to them for leading RQG forward towards being a recognised genealogical organisation. They have been instrumental in starting RQG and the growth in the membership which is now over 300 and continues to grow.

Directors and Student Representatives

Over the forthcoming weeks, the new Board will be looking at current and future task allocations and we will update the membership during the members meetings and via the RQGHub, our communications platform.

We continue to seek volunteers from the membership who wish to become more involved in RQG, through initiatives such as attending family history events, speaking at CPD sessions, and mentoring and we look forward to hearing from the student members.
